At the end of June over 400 Irish Methodists gathered for a webinar organised by the Home Mission Department on ‘Church After Lockdown’. At the end of that Webinar a couple of folks commented that it would be good if we could gather to pray online as a Methodist people. They were right! A crucial aspect of our response as Christian people to this pandemic is to pray. Across our Districts, in Societies, Circuits we have been praying. This is an opportunity for us to gather together and respond to this season prayerfully, to hear God’s voice, reaffirm who we are and rebuild church life as we join in God’s mission.
