As we continue in these days of difficulty and uncertainty we are thankful for the promises of God, and the Psalms in particular provide comfort and hope. As King David speaks of difficult times in Psalm 27 he begins by declaring, “The Lord is my light and my salvation” (v. 1) and finishes with these amazing words: “I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” (v. 13-14) May each of us remain confident in the goodness of God in the coming days as we wait for Him.
