Our club was formed fifty years ago as a means to promote fellowship and outreach. That it has achieved this is shown in the current membership of approximately fifty people of all ages drawn from our own church and the local community.
We do not play in a local league but do participate in an annual charity competition and play regular friendly matches with local clubs. Outings are arranged to international indoor stadiums and the annual prizegiving is accompanied by a meal. During the year a Bowlers’ Service and fund-raising events are arranged.
Ours is a ‘Fun Club’ with fellowship being more important than competition.
Everyone is welcome! The bowling club runs from September to April.
